Sanctuary City was a response to recent actions by the trump administration towards immigration. resembling a rock formation found in the desert, SC was a metaphor to a free, safe zone. The environment made from mylar emergency blankets created a refuge where those feeling displaced found peace. SC was a beacon of hope; a symbol of love, universality and infinite possibility.
